These are my tulip watercolor paintings. The originals are on 300 pound Arches watercolor paper. I painted them with so much detail, they don't look like a painting. They look like a flower. The originals below are for sale online. You may also order the giclee print and greeting cards on the following pages.
'Tulip I' and 'Tulip II' Paintings by Realistic Watercolor Artist Kim Ward
This is my newest watercolor painting of tulips. I took a break from painting my beach paintings to paint these pink tulips. I picked the number seven for a couple of reasons. There are seven tulips in the painting. My twin sister who currently is recovering from breast cancer was born seven minutes before I was. We were also born in July which is the seventh month. I also chose the color pink as it is the chosen color for breast cancer awareness. This disease touches every one of us. I only hope and pray the best for my twin, sister, Kay.
